The public Question Time meeting is on 29th May 7.30 – 9.30pm at Lewes Town Hall. This will give everyone a chance to look at what ideas have been coming forward in response to the Santon consultations. Also for people to ask questions or raise any concerns they may have. The town partnership feels that everyone who has an interest should try and attend as it may be the last chance to raise them.
In particular what the developer can offer in the way of community benefit (called Section 106) needs to be scrutinised. Whoever makes the decision may need to balance different needs and interests eg the need for affordable housing v other community benefits that may be being offered. Come along and find out.
