Lewes Town Partnership: Our Next 10 Years

The Lewes Town Partnership was ten years old in 2013 so we felt it is time for a refresh and a new look at how to develop our work in the next ten years. So many things could be changeing for Lewes as a town; new housing developments bring opportunties as well as threats and addressing how to ensure the town is vibrant and engaging for all ages can be a challenge. Our membership of over 65 groups and societies cover all ages and interests in the town,so we hope that together we can ensure that our town gets the best out of any opportunties.

Our external researcher Georgie Collins has been out and about in Lewes talking to members during January 2014 finding out how we have been working and what we should be doing next. Her report is due soon.

She reported back on her findings to date at a special members meeting held on the 30th January at the Hibbert Room. See the report of the evening below where members discussed and shared concerns and ideas about the North Street development. We have asked the developer to give us responses to the particular questions you have asked and will post them here when we hear back from them
