Lewes District Council are looking to help Lewes make the best of the Gentlemen of the Road festival on 19-20 July. The idea is to hold a community market place possibly in the Precinct where local community organisations and musicians can be showcased for locals and festival goers to see another side of Lewes. There may also be a farmers market and other ways that local food and drink providers can make something from it. They are brokering relationships between anyone wanting to have a concession within the festival grounds and also looking to provide a brochure for festival goers on what to find in the town. Email Jackie Blackwell in the Regeneration Team at firstname.lastname@example.org with any ideas.
