AGM report and farewell to John Webber

The town partnership bade a fond farewell and thank you to outgoing Chair, John Webber at the AGM, held on 10th October. John has steered the partnership through since the early days in 2003 and more recently since 2006 from an early membership of 6 to the now nearer 60. His cheerful and enthusiastic leadership will be a hard act to follow but Rosey Eggar has agreed to raise to the challenge.

We also said goodbye and thank you to Robert Cheesman, outgoing Treasurer, taken over now by Jim Sinclair. Also to Carlotta Luke as outgoing Company Secretary. The membership approved the new Articles of Association. The Directors are geared up to a new phase of work on behalf of the town.

Follow this Powerpoint presentation to view the highlights of the previous year and some plans for future projects. A write up of the speakers about the potential of change for the NHS that we heard at the meeting will be added to the previous meetings page shortly.
